MoDOT to hold public meeting for residents to learn about upcoming Highway 54 construction

CAMDENTON, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Missouri Department of Transportation is inviting residents to share their concerns and learn more about proposed improvements along Highway 54 in Camdenton.

The project consists of widening Highway 54 to five lanes; two eastbound lanes, two westbound lanes, and a center turn lane from Business 5 to Bumper Hill Road. The project also includes the construction of curb and gutter, new paved approaches and drainage enclosures

The project is expected to begin in 2024 and will cost about $5.1 million.

A public meeting will also be held 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15 at the Camdenton-Area Chamber of Commerce office.
