Teen killed after Johnson County crash

JOHNSON, Mo. (KMIZ)

A teenager was killed after a crash early Wednesday morning in Johnson County.

The crash according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, happened at 7:48 a.m. on Wednesday, on Route T and South West 300 Rd.

18-year-old Kaden Adams was killed in the crash, according to the Highway Patrol.

According to a crash report, Adams failed to stop at a stop sign and hit the drivers side of another car.

Adams was flown to Children's Mercy Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The Johnson County Sheriff's Department assisted in the investigation, and no other injuries were reported.
