City of Columbia crew to report Tuesday morning ahead of winter weather

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The City of Columbia Public Works will have an eight-person crew Tuesday morning due to forecasts calling for snow to develop and mix with rain early in the morning.

Drivers should expect spotty slick conditions and should use caution on the roads.

"At this time we do not expect significant long-term pavement accumulation or impacts for pavements lasting beyond the active event," said Engineering and Operations Manager Richard Stone.

Crews will continue to monitor conditions throughout the day on Tuesday.
