Snowy roads in mid-Missouri could impact Thursday morning commute

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Overnight snow in parts of mid-Missouri could cause dangerous travel conditions Thursday morning.

The Missouri Department of Transportation's Traveler Map shows most roadways are partly or completely covered.

Providence Road, Stadium Boulevard and College Avenue in Columbia were reported completely covered as of 4:45 a.m.

ABC 17 News crews saw snowplows treating roads in Columbia. On many roads, snow was packed down and creating ice. Interstate 70 appeared mostly clear early Thursday.
