MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A train went partially off the tracks early Sunday morning in Montgomery County.

A Facebook post from the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office said the derailment happened around 7:25 a.m. Sunday near Hwy WW and Franklin St. in New Florence, Mo.

According to the sheriff's office, no injuries have been reported and no hazardous materials have been identified.

Main Street and several secondary roads in New Florence are closed. It's unclear when those roads will reopen.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office said if you live on the East side of the tracks in New Florence, Sunbeam Road or Hudson Road to Ellis Road are the only routes out of town - which will bring you out to the Service Road.
