Four arrested in connection with Ridgemont Ct. homicide

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Columbia police have arrested a woman, two men and a juvenile in connection with a deadly shooting that took place in the 1400 block of Ridgemont Ct. on Sunday.

According to a press release from the Columbia Police Department, Alexis Baumann, 18, of Hallsville, and Kobe Aust, 18, of Columbia, were arrested for second-degree murder, first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary. 

Joseph Crane, 18, of Columbia, and a male juvenile were arrested for second-degree murder, armed criminal action, first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary and unlawful use of a weapon.

The announcement of their arrest comes one day after the Columbia Police Department announced Michael R. Burke, 42, of Columbia, died from injuries sustained during the shooting.

Officers were sent to the 1400 block of Ridgemont Court at about 8:15 p.m. and found Burke shot. It's not clear what led up to the shooting.

The press release states this incident is still an active investigation.
