Salisbury man seriously hurt after crash in Chariton County

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

An 18-year-old Salisbury man was seriously hurt after a crash in Chariton County just before 9:30 p.m. Sunday, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The report states the man was driving a 2007 Honda south on Hwy 129, about two miles south of Salisbury, when the car went off the left side of the road, hit a fence and flipped.

The man was taken to University Hospital by ambulance with serious injuries, according to the report.

The report states the man was wearing a seatbelt. The car was totaled.
