Possible shooting leads to large law enforcement presence near Columbia

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Law enforcement vehicles blocked a street in a residential area just outside the Columbia city limits Tuesday after officers were called for a possible shooting.

First responders were called Tuesday afternoon to Mesa Drive and blocked off part of the street. A Boone County Fire Protection District spokesperson said medics performed CPR on an 18-year-old at the scene.

The call was dispatched out as a possible shooting. Other details were not available.
