Two teens hurt after jet ski crash at Lake of the Ozarks

Two teen girls were hurt - one seriously - after a jet ski crash just before 6 p.m. Friday at the Lake of the Ozarks in Morgan County, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The report states a 15-year-old girl from Wichita was driving a Seadoo Spark at the 58.6-mile marker of the Osage Arm when she side-swiped a 13-year-old girl from Wichita also riding a Seadoo Spark, throwing both drivers off the jet skis.

The 13-year-old was taken to Lake Regional Hospital by EMS with serious injuries. The 15-year-old was taken in a personal vehicle to Lake Regional Hospital with moderate injuries, according to the report.

The report states the teens were wearing life jackets at the time of the crash. Both jet skis had moderate damage.
