Maryland man seriously hurt after crash in Osage County

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 30-year-old Maryland man was seriously hurt after a crash in Osage County around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The report states the man was driving south in a 2020 Freightliner Cascadia on Highway 133, north of Petes Dr., when he drove off the right side of the road, hit a utility pole, causing the semi to flip.

The man was taken to University Hospital by EMS with serious injuries.

The report states the man was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The semi was totaled.
