Versailles man seriously hurt after jet ski accident at Lake of the Ozarks

A 22-year-old Versailles man was seriously hurt after crashing a jet ski into a bridge pier at the Lake of the Ozarks in Morgan County Thursday night, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The report states the man was driving a 2015 Sea-Doo around 7:30 Thursday, when he hit a bridge pier at the 10 mm of the Gravois Arm. The man was thrown from the jet ski and suffered serious injuries.

He was taken to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment. The report states the man was wearing a lifejacket at the time of the crash. The Sea-Doo was totaled.
