COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Eight people were taken into custody Friday morning after law enforcement in Audrain County conducted search warrants at two separate homes.

Officers arrested two people as a result of the first search warrant, a post on the Audrain County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page says. The search was executed early Friday morning at a residence on Quantico Road in Mexico, Missouri.

Officers say they found Methamphetamine, Fentanyl, stolen property and multiple items used in the distribution of drugs.

Prosecutors charged 61-year-old Raymond Glenn Head of Mexico and 41-year-old Kevin Dean Snyder of Mexico with possession of a controlled substance, keeping or maintaining a public nuisance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were detained at the Audrain County Jail on a no-bond arrest warrant, the post states.

Later Friday morning, officers arrested six more people as a result of another search warrant executed at a residence on South Missouri Street in Mexico.

Officers say they found Fentanyl and multiple items used in the distribution of drugs there.

Prosecutors charged 50-year-old Sarah Elizabeth Blackwell of Mexico with first-degree drug trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, keeping or maintaining a public nuisance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Blackwell was detained at the Audrain County Jail on a no-bond arrest warrant.

28-year-old Dakota Michael Goodin of Mexico, 38-year-old Christine Gilbert of Mexico, 20-year-old Shawntarius Thrower-Hoffman of Mexico, 25-year-old Dylan Wayne Blackwell of Mexico, and 20-year-old Gretchen Raye Whipple were charged with possession of a controlled Substance, keeping or maintaining a public nuisance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

All six were booked at the Audrain County Jail. Goodin was detained on a no-bond arrest warrant. Gilbert was detained on a $10,000 cash or surety bond arrest warrant. Thrower-Hoffman was detained on a $5,000 cash or surety bond arrest warrant.

Blackwell was court-ordered released on his recognizance with a date to appear in court, according to the post. Whipple was booked and released pending the formal filing of charges by the Audrain County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

The East Central Drug Task Force served the search warrants, assisted by the Audrain County Sheriff‘s Office and the Mexico Department of Public Safety.
