Warsaw woman seriously hurt after crash in Benton County Saturday night

BENTON COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 65-year-old Warsaw woman was seriously hurt after a crash on US 65 in Benton County just after 8 p.m. Saturday, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The report states the woman was driving a 2024 Chevrolet Trax northbound just south of Cedar Gate on US 65 when she hit the back of a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer, driven by a 79-year-old Warsaw man. The woman's car crossed the median and hit a guardrail.

The woman was flown to University Hospital with serious injuries. The man was uninjured, according to the report.

The report states the woman was not wearing her seatbelt.
