Eldon man hit by SUV in Miller County Thursday evening

MILLER COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A pedestrian was hit by a SUV in Miller County just north of Tuscumbia on Thursday evening.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report, a 25-year-old man driving a 2024 Ford Explorer was passing oncoming traffic on Highway 17 at 9:18 p.m. when he hit a 26-year-old Eldon man.

The man was flown to University Hospital in Columbia with serious injuries, Troopers reported.

The driver of the Ford Explorer was not injured.

Minor damage was reported on the vehicle, according to Troopers.
