New entry guidelines for Memorial Stadium as construction gets underway

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

As the Missouri Tigers are set to face off against one of their oldest rivals, the Oklahoma Sooners, fans are reminded to possibly change their gameday plans as Memorial Stadium undergoes construction.

The preliminary work for the Memorial Stadium Improvements Project started Oct. 14. Parking Lot B in the Northeast corner of the stadium is closed for the rest of the 2024 season.

According to Mizzou Athletics, the construction in Lot B is focused on the stadium's sewer and water lines.

Due to the limited walkability around the construction, fans are encouraged to enter through the West and East side entrances of the stadium

Fans walking to and from North of the stadium like from Lot W, Lot TAPS, Lot L, and Lot X should avoid using the tunnel under Stadium Blvd. and instead use the intersection of Stadium Blvd. and Mick Deaver Memorial Drive for access.

The Tiger Team store will remain open. The Northeast ticket office will not be open and all ticket resolution can be done at the other ticket offices around the stadium.

The Memorial Stadium Improvements Project is a $250 million renovation plan that will cover the stadium's North end, adding premium seating options and increasing Memorial Stadium's capacity to around 65,000. The plan was approved in September and is expected to be completed at the start of the 2026 football season.
