Kansas City woman seriously hurt after crash in Callaway County Friday evening

CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Kansas City woman was seriously hurt after a crash in Callaway County at around 5:15 p.m. Friday evening, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The crash report states Anna Wright-Wells, 54, of Kansas City was driving a 2014 Nissan Rogue with passenger Jonah Wells, 24, of Kansas City on US 63 at Renz Farm Rd. when she crossed into the path of a 2023 Honda CRV, driven by Amanda Blissett, 36, of Jefferson City. The CRV hit the Rogue, according to the report.

Wright-Wells was taken to University Hospital by EMS with serious injuries, according to the report. Blissett and Wells suffered minor injuries from the crash and were brought to University Hospital for treatment.

According to the report, all three people involved in the crash were wearing seatbelts. Both cars were totaled.
