Bourbon woman seriously hurt after motorcycle crash in Cole County

COLE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A woman from Bourbon, Mo. was seriously hurt after a motorcycle crash in Cole County late Saturday night, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The report states that Betty Post, 56, of Bourbon, was riding on a 2021 Harley-Davidson motorcycle on Highway 54 heading east at around 10:45 p.m. when she lost control and was thrown from the motorcycle. The motorcycle then went off the left side of the road.

Post was taken to University Hospital by Cole County EMS with serious injuries, according to the report.

The report states she was not wearing a helmet.
