One dead in Miller County crash
MILLER COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ) -
One person has died during a crash in Miller County on Saturday.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Steven Buckner, 43, of Eldon, was driving a 1989 Chevrolet Pickup Truck on Route Z at 6:22 p.m., Saturday when the crash occurred.
Buckner was about 1630 feet south of Old Martin Farm Road when his truck went off the right side of the road and hit a ditch. The truck then flipped over and came to a stop.
Buckner was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol posted to its X page on Saturday night that a person died in a single-vehicle crash on Route Z in Miller County. Sgt. Kyle Green told ABC 17 News that the crash happened at Route Z and Bunker Rd. south of Eldon.
The post made at 8:39 p.m. said that the road was closed.
According to the report, he was not wearing a seatbelt.
