Rolla man seriously hurt in single-vehicle crash in Phelps County

PHELPS COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 64-year-old Rolla man was seriously hurt in a single-vehicle crash in Phelps County on Monday evening.

According to the online crash report, Guy Clayton was traveling northbound on Highway A north of Ridgetop Drive at 7:50 p.m. when his 2023 F-150 went off the left side of the road.

The truck then hit a tree and then a boulder, Troopers said.

Clayton was flown to Mercy Springfield with serious injuries.

He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, according to the report.
