Montgomery City woman seriously injured in crash Monday night

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Montgomery City woman was seriously injured Monday evening in a crash on eastbound I-70 at mile marker 183 in Montgomery County.

According to the online crash report, Linda Riechers, 69, was stopped in the passing lane when the back of her 2016 Nissan Rogue was hit by a 2023 Chevrolet Silverado.

Riechers was taken to St. Joseph West Hospital with serious injuries.

It's unknown if Riechers was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, according to Troopers.

The driver of the Silverado was not injured and was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
