81-year-old Jefferson City man drowns in Lake of the Ozarks

CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

An 81-year-old man from Jefferson City drowned in the Lake of the Ozarks early Tuesday morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's drowning report, Allan Mueller was last seen on his dock around 5 p.m. Monday and was reported as a missing person.

Mueller entered the water at an unknown time wearing a life jacket, and he was later found at 12:51 a.m Tuesday floating face down at Spring Cove at the 10-mile marker, Troopers said.

This is Troop F's second drowning in 2024.
