Missing 3-year-old boy found, Amber Alert canceled

PERRYVILLE, Mo. (KMIZ)

An Amber Alert that issued on Wednesday afternoon for a missing 3-year-old boy out of Perryville, Missouri, has been canceled after the boy and suspect were found.

The alert – which was sent at 1:48 p.m. – stated Aziah Laurent was abducted around noon on March 19. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Other descriptors for the boy were not available.

Aziah was last seen with Donald T. Laurent, 34. According to the alert, Laurent is white, about 200 pounds and is 5-feet, 11-inches tall and has brown hair and green eyes. The alert also states he has tattoos on both arms and has a Libra tattoo on his left shoulder.

The alert states that Donald Laurent drive a white 2007 Mercury Grand Marquis with Alabama license plates.

The alert also states that Laurent contacted the child’s mother and had made credible threats towards the child within the past 24 hours. Laurent and the child may be in Tennessee, but could be traveling to Alabama, the release states.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or the Perryville Police Department at 573-547-4546.
