Two people seriously injured in Miller County UTV crash Sunday afternoon

MILLER COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A crash involving a UTV in Miller County Sunday afternoon sent two people to the hospital.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the crash happened at 4:52 p.m. south of Kinderhook Rd.

Troopers say the crash happened when the UTV driven by a 13-year-old girl went off the road, overturned, throwing her and her passenger Troy Bowlin, 35, from the vehicle.

Both were taken to Lake Regional Hospital with serious injuries.

According to the online crash report, neither of them were wearing a safety device.
