Indiana man seriously injured after hitting a deer in Callaway

CALLAWAY, Mo. (KMIZ)

An Indiana man was seriously injured after hitting a deer on his Harley-Davidson Friday night.

Jesus Riviera was driving on I-70 westbound near mile marker 152 when the crash happened. The 29-year-old was transported by Callaway County EMS to University Hospital.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Riviera was driving when he hit the deer, and then traveled off the right side of the roadway.

According to MSHP, he is suffering from serious injuries.
