COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Among the items approved at Monday night’s Columbia City Council meeting was an amendment to the collective bargaining agreement with the Columbia Police Officers Association.

The amendment will give a 4% increase to the salaries of police officers.

The increases will be effective in the next pay period. It includes employees whose pay increase would make their rate higher than the current fiscal year pay plan.
