Nebraska woman hospitalized after rollover crash in Morgan County

MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Nebraska woman was hospitalized after a single-vehicle crash in Morgan County Saturday afternoon.

Online crash reports say, the crash happened at 3:12 p.m. on Wilson Bend Road south of Ridgeline Drive.

Sandra A. Penny, 69, was driving a 2020 Jeep Renegade when it went off the road, hit the ground, overturned and hit a fence.

The vehicle continued to overturn and returned back onto Wilson Bend Road and crossed onto Ridgeline Drive.

The Renegade finally came to a stop on its wheels blocking the westbound lane of Ridgeline Drive.

The Highway Patrol says, Penny was taken to Lake Regional Hospital with serious injuries,

She was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to Troopers.
