Jefferson County man nearly drowns in the Lake of the Ozarks

MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

An Arnold, Missouri man was hospitalized after nearly drowning at the Lake of the Ozarks Saturday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says, a bystander found 48-year-old Todd Faulkner face down in the water on the 5th mile mark of the lake near the Osage Arm.

Online reports say, Faulkner was having a hard time staying above water due to being intoxicated.

Faulkner was taken to Lake Regional Hospital with moderate injuries.
