Auxvasse woman flown to University Hospital after crash in Callaway County

CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

An Auxvasse woman was flown to University Hospital after a crash in Callaway County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says, the crash happened on I-70 eastbound at 153.8 mile marker early Friday evening.

Troopers say, a tractor trailer hit the driver's side of 44-year-old Beth Mayhew's Ford Explorer as she was making a left hand turn.

Mayhew was flown to University Hospital in serious condition.

According to online crash reports, Mayhew was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The driver of the tractor was not hurt.
