Ice was seen frozen from the suite level of Faurot Field on Tuesday. A pipe burst on Saturday caused "significant damage," according to an MU spokesman.

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Faurot Field was not the only area on the University of Missouri campus to experience damages over the weekend, according MU spokesman Christian Basi.

Earlier this week, “significant damage” was reported at the football stadium on MU’s campus after pipes burst due to the extreme cold temperatures that affected Mid-Missouri. The reported break was on the sixth floor of the west tower.

Another break at Faurot Field from over the weekend was reported near the south end zone, according Basi.

Four residential halls were also affected. Basi said 30 students in 21 rooms were impacted by water damage. The affected students have been contacted by the university. An academic building also experienced damages.

The names of the affected buildings were not released.

Mizzou Arena also had minor damage from an outside water line and the Athletic Training Complex sustained damage after a pipe broke above the dining area of the building, according to Basi.

An estimated cost to fix the damages or a timeline for repairs have not been revealed.
