2023 Recreational Trails Program grant applications now open

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources Division of State Parks announced in a press release on Monday that the 2023 grant application round for the Recreational Trails Program is open.

These grants are available to cities, counties and nonprofits to be used to create motorized and non-motorized trails for recreational use. Federal agencies can also apply for funding for motorized trails.

The application deadline is Feb. 16, 2023. More information about this program can be found online.
