Plea hearing scheduled Tuesday morning for convicted killer’s child abuse case

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Joseph Elledge is set to have a plea hearing Tuesday morning in his child abuse case.

A jury convicted him last year of second-degree murder for killing his wife, Mengqi Ji.

Elledge was sentenced to 28 years behind bars last month.

He's now facing multiple felony charges including child abuse or neglect and endangering their welfare.

Elledge's plea hearing is scheduled for Tuesday at 9 a.m.

He previously pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.
