Pettis County man charged with 2nd-degree statutory rape
SEDALIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
A Sedalia man is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old in an abandoned cargo container.
The victim told Sedalia police in Nov. 2020that Nathaniel Siefkas had a sexual relationship with her when she was 14 and possibly fathered her child that was born in Jan. 2020 according to the probable cause statement.
The victim told police that she and Siefkas had sex multiple times over the course of several months at a local park or the cargo container.
During the investigation, police spoke with Siefkas. Siefkas told police that he thought she was legal and that she lied about her age according to court documents.
Siefkas has a $5,000 cash/surety bond.
