SUNDAY UPDATES: State continues to see rise in thousands of cases
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
UPDATE: The Saline County Health Department reported 27 new Coronavirus cases Sunday.
There have been 1,871 cases reported in the county since the beginning of the pandemic.
On Sunday, there were 133 active cases with 10 people hospitalized.
ORIGINAL: The state health department's COVID-19 dashboard reported over 3,800 new coronavirus cases Sunday morning.
The addition brings the state total to 322,298 cases since the pandemic started.
11 new deaths were also added to the dashboard.
COVID-19 has been a factor in 4,192 deaths across the state.
