Tracking multiple days of precipitation
SUNDAY: Most of us are starting the day off dry and mostly cloudy but rain will move in towards the evening hours. Since we will see some sun through the clouds before the rain, we will be able to get into the middle 50's for our high.
SUNDAY NIGHT: Rain intensity starts to pick up into the nighttime hours, especially south of I-70. You will want to have an umbrella handy for the morning. Lows are in the low 40's.
EXTENDED: Monday will be a rainy day so keep your umbrella with you. Some pockets in the rain on Monday could bring some downpours at times. Rain will start to move out Monday night and by that time most of us will have picked up an inch or more of rain, some south of I-70 could get up to two inches of rain. The AREAL FLOOD WATCH is still in effect for Camden, Phelps and Pulaski counties until 6 PM on Monday. This much rain could cause low lying roadways to pool up with water so be careful! Tuesday should be dry for a good portion of the daytime hours but heading into the night is when we will reach below freezing temperatures and our next batch of moisture will arrive, bringing snow into Wednesday morning. This snow could be accumulating and will likely snow hardest from around 10 am until 1 pm. Snow should exit the region around 3 pm Wednesday and we will finally dry out for the second half of the workweek.
