Gorgeous weather today, clouds & rain return this weekend

THIS AFTERNOON: Passing clouds are expected this afternoon, with temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s .

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy skies will increase across the area overnight as showers look to build into the region throughout the morning Saturday. Lows fall into the upper 40s and low 50s .

EXTENDED: Rain showers look to last on and off through the early afternoon Saturday, but we should start to see clouds clear out close to sunset. Dense fog is possible overnight into Sunday as winds die down and shift out of the south. Sunday looks to be another mild day ahead of a cold front which could spark off storms across mid-Missouri. These look to come later in the evening and could last into the morning hours Monday.
