A quiet start to the week in Mid-Missouri

MONDAY: Things remain quiet starting off the week, with temperatures topping out in the upper 60s and low 70s with plentiful sunshine.

TONIGHT: We’ll stay quiet and mostly clear to start out the night, but clouds will increase toward the early morning, with slight rain chances entering the forecast. The morning batch looks like nothing more than a possible nuisance for the morning commute.

EXTENDED: We’ll be tracking another cold front that will bring some slightly better rain chances toward the afternoon on Tuesday. However, some of the data this morning is suggesting that these rain chances might not be realized until this front is off to our southeast, keeping us dry. We will be cooler on Wednesday, with highs only managing the upper 50s before we warm up back into the 60s and 70s toward the end of the week.
