Slick Conditions Continue

TODAY: Icy road conditions linger after yesterday, especially on untreated roads and roads that are not frequently traveled. Temperatures will begin to warm past freezing today, topping out in the lower 40s this afternoon. Steady winds will keep us with a wind chill factor all day today, and to start our morning, we will have a feels like temperature in the teens.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy skies persist across mid-Missouri. We are tracking a band of snow centered in Iowa that could impact our northernmost counties overnight tonight and into early tomorrow. If the snow showers do extend far enough south to impact parts of the viewing area, they will be brief with little accumulation.

EXTENDED: Cool days and chilly nights can be expected through the beginning of the work week. We continue to have a small chance for precipitation almost every day this week, but our next organized system is lining up to move in late next week. Temperatures will remain fairly comfortable for the majority of the week.
