Boone County fire crews respond to north Columbia barn fire

BOONE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Boone County fire crews are responding to a large structure fire north of Columbia.

ABC 17 has crews on scene who say at least seven fire engines have responded to the scene on North Creasy Springs Road.

ABC 17 crews report a barn caught fire. According to the man who called 911, he said the fire started in the back and spread throughout the rest of the barn.

Officials on the scene have yet to say exactly what started the fire and confirm any of this. All this information is from neighbors talking to ABC 17.

The woman that owns the barn said her camper is in the barn. The owner has been working in the barn trying to get there things out of the barn but but have had people come steal things out of the barn.

The Boone County sheriff said no one was in barn and no one was injured.
