Sedalia police ask for help finding missing woman with Alzheimer’s

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Sedalia Police Department issued an alert Thursday for a missing 69-year-old woman who suffers from Alzheimer's.

Melody O'Donnell was reported missing from her home in the 900 block of East Sixth Street at about 7 p.m. Wednesday, according to a police news release. She was last seen leaving home at about 1 or 2 p.m. that day, police say.

Police say she is in the early stages of Alzheimer's.

The release did not include a photo.
