Report: Helicopter “lost engine power” before landing in Randolph County

RANDOLPH COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Federal Aviation Administration released its preliminary report about an emergency helicopter landing in Randolph County.

According to the report, the aircraft lost engine power before it made a hard landing in Clark, Missouri.

First responders at the scene Wednesday told ABC 17 News that a medical helicopter was transporting a patient. First responders prepared a landing site for another medical helicopter to transport the patient.

The helicopter had a bent tail and minor damage to the landing gear.
