Bodies of man, woman found in Pulaski County

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Pulaski County sheriff's deputies are investigating after finding the bodies of a man and woman Wednesday near Waynesville.

Deputies were sent to the 25000 block of Highway 17 on Wednesday morning on a report of an unresponsive person, according to a sheriff's office news release. Deputies found a man and woman, both dead.

The sheriff's office didn't release their names pending notification of family members. Their cause of death is being investigated and an autopsy will be scheduled.

Pulaski County Sheriff Jimmy Bench said in the news release that he believes there is no threat to the public.
