Juvenile seriously injured after Pettis County wreck on Route H

PETTIS COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Missouri State Highway Patrol is reporting a 17-year-old was seriously injured after a wreck on Route H just before 3 p.m. Friday.

According to the crash report, the juvenile was driving a 2010 GMC 2500 when the vehicle traveled off the side of the road then the vehicle became airborne hitting an embankment.

The vehicle then came to a rest on it's side in a creek bed.

The teen was taken by EMS to University Hospital.

The drier was wearing a seatbelt.
