Ukrainian officials said Tuesday that their forces might have been attacked by Russian chemical weapons.

The claims have not been verified, but chemical weapons were used by the Russia-backed Syrian regime during that country's civil war. However, President Joe Biden has frequently said the U.S. will not engage militarily with Russia.
