Lake Ozark woman seriously injured in Morgan County Crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 66-year-old woman from Lake of the Ozarks was seriously injured in a multi-vehicle semi-truck crash Saturday morning.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the crash occurred in Morgan County at around 11:45 a.m. on U.S. 50 near Missouri Highway 5.

The woman was driving a 2022 Ford Expedition south when she turned into the path of a 56-year-old from Orlando, Florida, who was driving a 2020 Freightliner Cascadia semi-truck. The truck had extensive damage from the crash.

A 42-year-old Sedelia woman was roadside facing south in a 2025 Ford Explorer and was hit by debris from the crash and had minor damage.

The 66-year-old woman was taken to University Hospital by ambulance. Her car was totaled. All drivers were wearing seatbelts.
