Man found dead in vehicle in Versailles Walmart parking lot

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A man was found dead in a vehicle in Versailles last week, according to a Thursday social media post from the Versailles Police Department.

Police wrote that it was called to investigate an abandoned vehicle on March 20 in the Walmart parking lot. The vehicle was supposedly in the lot for about three weeks.

The rear passenger door was slightly open and Lorenzo Flores was found dead in the backseat, police wrote. He was 38.

Police wrote that the department is trying to determine the cause of death, but foul play is not suspected.
