Several departments respond to Montgomery County fire

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Firefighters from multiple departments were sent to a fire at a Montgomery County trucking company Tuesday morning.

Montgomery County Fire Protection sent crews to the fire along with fire departments from Wellsville, Bellflower, Jonesburg and Warrenton, the Montgomery County district said on social media. Big Springs, Rhineland, Hermann and Marthasville firefighters were on their way to the scene mid-morning, a Montgomery County fire district representative told ABC 17 News.

No one was injured and the cause of the fire wasn't clear Tuesday afternoon, the representative said.

Photos from the fire district showed large flames at Pierson's Trucking, located off Interstate 70 between Danville and New Florence. One photo showed a fireball rising up from the location.
