COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Students at South Park Elementary in Moberly will be moved to other schools on Monday.

Moberly School District Superintendent Cristina Wright wrote in an email that the city told the district this week that it plans on repairing a water main near the school on Monday. Water to the building will be shut off.

Wright wrote that students and staff are expected to be back at South Park Elementary on Tuesday.

“We appreciate the advanced notice so that we are able to relocate our students by grades to our other elementary school buildings,” Wright wrote. “We have created a plan for academic instruction, transportation, and food service to continue in alternate locations, and we have shared the plans with our South Park families.”
