Boil advisory extended in Moberly

MGN

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A boil advisory in Moberly has been extended, according to a Tuesday press release from the city.

Service was interrupted on Monday that required an emergency water main repair. Tuesday’s release says that occurred again.

A boil water advisory will be issued for residents after repairs are completed, the release says. Impacted residences include those in the 1200 block of Franklin street, 300-400 blocks of Emerson Street, 1205 West Reed St. and its surrounding areas.

The boil advisory will last 48 hours, the release says. During an advisory, water should be boiled for 3 minutes and cooled before drinking, the release says. The release says that utility customers with questions can call the water office at 660-263-4420.
