Moberly extends boil advisory

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A boil advisory near the 500 block of Patton Street in Moberly was extended on Monday.

The city had announced an advisory on Saturday after water service was interrupted on Saturday because of water main repairs. The city wrote in Monday’s press release that an emergency water main repair occurred on Monday.

The boil advisory will last 48 hours, the release says. During an advisory, water should be boiled for 3 minutes and cooled before drinking, the release says.

The release says that utility customers with questions can call the water office at 660-263-4420.
