More than 500 without power in Macon County

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

There were 530 Macon Electric Cooperative customers without power on Monday evening as storms entered the area, according to the Association of Missouri Electric Cooperatives outage map.

Severe thunderstorm warnings were issued around 10 p.m. in Randolph and Macon counties.

Outages were reported for Ameren customers around Mid-Missouri, with 41 and 40 customers to be without power in Howard and Gasconade counties, respectively.
